CDL A or B Bus Driver

JOB OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for Bus Drivers with CDL A and/or B endorsement. And Must have a passenger endorsement
This company provides low-cost, convenient public bus service to all areas of Spartanburg, as well as several destinations outside the city limits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a bus according to established routes and schedules.
• Educate passengers on safety procedures and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus interior.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, particularly those with mobility challenges.
• Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current valid commercial driving license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. (A or B) and passenger endorsement is a MUST
• Must have had a driver’s license for at least 2-years
• Experience in commercial driving preferred
• Good Motor Vehicle Record (This will be verified)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass a drug screening and background check

SHIFT/HOURS

• Buses run from 6:00PM – 6:00PM, you will be scheduled accordingly to their needs.
• Will work 25-35 hours per week

PAY/COMPENSATION

• Pay starts at $16.43/hr.
• Will get hired on after 90-day temp period

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Bus driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
• CDL A or CDL B (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Spartanburg, SC 29306 (Required)
